Artist's Statement
"The Skyline of Jerusalem". Jerusalem is a culturally rich and diverse city. Many identify with and are identified by their hat of choice. Yarmulka, yemenite kippa, keffiyeh, baseball hats, kovah tembel, black hats or kaliva. These hats color the city of Jerusalem. The crowded streets are defined the shapes of these head coverings. The people of Jerusalem are Jerusalem, and there is space here for many different hats.
About Tammy
Tammy Youngerwood founded Jerusalem Cake Design in 2013. Originally from Canada, Tammy worked in Graphic Design for years before launching a career in the Sugar Arts. Her cakes have been published in American Cake Decorating magazine and Cake Central Magazine as well as featured at many of the top hotels and wedding venues in the Jerusalem area.
